by Chesca Lagunzad

after all the things that happened to me, i will admit that sa mga oras na ito, muntik na akong sumuko... hahahaha..  akala ko ganun kadali tumalikod sa lahat ng problems...

well lagi ko ngang sinasabi "THAT'S LIFE, DEAL WITH IT!

have cleaner air.

Do add us up! We'll be updating the blogsite regularly with the latest

The scanned copy of THE ALTRUIST approved proposal.

This will go down the TAMVOL MEMORABILIA, this was approved by no less than the FEU President, Dr. Lydia Echauz.

THE ALTRUIST under its EIC, Keiji Makita, is the very first approved printed version since it was founded by TAMVOL's former president, JOHN PAUL UMINGA (who was then Director, Humanitarian Aid). He made two online issues. Then RENDLEY ALINCASTRE (VP Internal), succeeded as EIC. The proposal to publish it was not approved during his time.

So it was a feat for Mr. Makita (senior Management student) to have it approved by the president. And the very first printed issue was released last December 12, 2008 at the Room 202, AMSIR Bldg.

SHARE: Successful Volunteer Experience

Share your story and inspire others!

From grassroots communities, health centers, to coastal clean-ups, beach camps and classroom classes, your volunteer stories will be meaningful enough to inspire someone out there!

One of the greatest gifts we can give to others is our reflection of the volunteer work that we have done or we are doing. It does not only help spread the joys of volunteering, it also serves as examples that many people can learn from.  One personal story can touch so many lives – and that could be your story!

The IAVE Youth Office in Catalonia (IYOC) invites you to share your volunteer experiences on our website! We want to come up with a "Successful Volunteer Experience Bank" that can aid/help youth from all over the world, in different levels of youth volunteering (local, national and international) . From this "experience bank," 2 stories will be featured on our website each month! Your success stories will give visibility and value to the strengths of volunteering. We believe that every volunteer´s achievement will further promote volunteering in its varius aspects, impact stakeholders in the personal and social levels, and encourage more action and involvement among young people. Moreover, it is a venue to connect more and more youth all over the world, and facilitate the creation of a wider network of young volunteers for social transformation.

We are all part of this, and we are sure that we all have our own success stories to tell!

Below is a guide on how to prepare/submit your stories for the "Successful Volunteer Experience Bank." Remember, the more interactive, the better!

(Note: We welcome stories in any language!)
